Brachetto d’Aqui is a Piemontese treat. It is a bubbly sweet wine in the same vein as Moscato d’Asti, except it is made from aromatic red grapes called Brachetto from in and around the town of Aqui. The wine is often produced off-dry to slightly sweet, and the best can balance the edge of sweet and dry. Braida is among the finest and this little half bottle will add an exclamation point to any meal.
