In a bout for the ages, central Italian southpaw Brunello will be squaring off against the nose-cruncher of the north Nebbiolo, in a brawl for the top spot as reigning king of Italian wine!

This Fathers Day, technically two days after, I am excited to offer a curated blind tasting of Nebbiolo and Sangiovese, side by side, in an evening of discovery. The goal, of course, is to explore these incredible grape varietals in the glass thorugh 8 hand-picked wines covering Chianti, Barolo, Brunello, Barbaresco, Romagnolo Sangiovese, Langhe Nebbiolo and more. This is a must for anyone seeking a greater understanding of the production, appellations and styles of these prodigious grapes. No better way than a blind tasting, where the education is truly in the glass.
