At its core, Passaporto is about discovering great Italian wine. For over 2.5 years, I have introduced members to regions and producers I love through this service. My mission is to paint a portrait of place that helps spark an authentic wine experience in the glass. Initially, I approached a region broadly, cramming as much information as possible. However, this has evolved into a more narrative approach: beginning with an introduction to the area, history, and cuisine, and then honing in on important villages and appellations in granular detail, including geography, climate, and winemakers. This method allows me to truly showcase the diverse grapes and styles from across the boot!
