A sleeper of a wine, Monteleone Etna Bianco 2022 is an opulent and brightly expressive 100% Carricante from Etna. Drinking more like entry-level Chassagne Montrachet, this Etna Bianco unfurls over the course of a meal, showing layer after layer of citrus, under-ripe papaya and honeysuckle. In 2017, Giulia Monteleone came across a parcel of old vines on Mount Etna and fell in love. With partner Benedetto and father by her side, she purchased the plot and hasn’t looked back. Today, her holdings have expanded to include predominately old vines on the north side of this very active volcano.
