Grand Cru Barbera

Montebruna is among Asti’s finest expressions of Barbera, deftly balancing the spice, acidity and punchy fruit Barbera is known for. The Montebruna ‘21 is not a small wine yet is integrated enough to hide 15% ABV within layers of elegant spice, black fruit and backbone. Too many heavily extracted wines come from Asti, especially from Nizza, sidestepping the effusive nature of this grape in favor of ripeness.
