Primosic 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Friuli

The Primosic family has been growing grapes in northeastern Italy since the 1960’s. They were a part of the regions first wine organization, or “consorzio”, dedicated to raising the quality of the region as a whole. They work organically and sustain an ecosystem on their property void of any synthetics. Primosic wines are all about pure varietal expression with a distinct Friuli feel: bold and polished fruit simply bursting out of the bottle. This Sauvignon resembles many from this area, where stone and tropical fruit is present and there is less ‘green’ in the wine.
