Solid Sangiovese grown in the hills north of Florence. The Crociferro is among the finest everyday Chianti’s on the market today, showing dried red flowers, taunt fruit that seems to widen over time, and integrated tannin and acidity. Everything is in harmony in the glass here. Torre A Cona is an historic property built in the 1500’s, owned and operated by a noble family originally from Piemonte. Despite the large size of this resort, they take their wine game seriously. Led by Federico Curtaz, a respected Oenologist, the team at Torre A Cona work sustainably in the vineyard and winery to produce elegant and reliable Chianti from their home in the hills near Florence.
