November Wine Education
Three classes are on the books for November 2023!
We begin with a journey into Italy’s most important viticultural regions and a shoe-in for the holidays, Tuscany. After covering a little history and geography, we will visit San Gimignano, Chianti Classico, Montalcino and IGT Toscana (super T), and discover why these wines contrast the cool winter in CA so perfectly. For acolytes of Sangiovese, this one’s for you.
Our next immersion takes us across norther Spain. From the Atlantic coast, across the Pyrenees to the warmth of the Mediterranean, this trip has it all! We will span the length of Spain and visit Galicia, Bierzo, Txakolina, Rioja and Priorat through 7 handpicked wines. Take your knowledge of Spanish wines to the next level.
And finally, as we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, I have built a unique tasting meant to elevate your Thanksgiving food and wine experience. In the Robinson household, it’s all about pairing to the distinct aromas and flavors of the season, fall. I am very excited to be sharing some of my pairing secrets, pitfalls to avoid and a few flourishes to make the holiday a little more special.
