Solid Barolo from one of the regions rising stars, Alberto and Caterina Burzi. This 2019 is showing all the hallmarks of the vintage: bold fruit, backbone and age-ability. Matched with a house style than leans toward freshness and fruit, this Barolo is exceedingly well balanced. With a little time in the decanter, the fruit seems to darken and rise in complexity. Very well-rounded and versatile given the smooth tannin and acidity. La Morra fruit has a plush and forward personality in the glass and Burzi Barolo showcase this better than most.
