Simply put, he shook the local industry into a whole new way of making wine and the effects are still felt today. The winery is now run by his daughter Silvia, and the Barolo have never been more balanced. Pure dark berried black and blue fruits swirl in the glass, lifted by a background of oak and spice, without ever obscuring Nebbiolo’s footprint.
