Bovio Barolo are always fresh and ready-to-drink Barolo from vines in the La Morra commune of western Barolo. This 2018 from the large Rocchettevino vineyard is a soft and inviting Barolo with integrated red fruit, savory herbs and persistant acidity. While not a bold wine, it is versatile at the dinner table and just easy to drink from the moment you pull the cork. A joyful wine.

IN THE WINERY: Fermentation and maceration goes on for about 10 days in temperature - controlled tanks, using native yeasts. A brief maceration of the grapes and of the grape skins follows. The wine is eventually transferred to large wood barrels.
