A bright and complex Lambrusco from the village of Sorbara. The Prima Volta spends over 3 years on the fine lees, giving Sorbara's high-toned red fruit added weight and complexity on the palate. Don't be fooled by the color, this structured Lambrusco pairs beautifully with all types of antipasto and grilled seafood. Cantina della Volta are known for producing complex Lambrusco using the Champagne method (2nd fermentation in the bottle) from their home in Sorbara. They are apart of a new wave of producers who make dry and focused Lambrusco.
