Casamara Club ‘Onda’ Botanical Soda, Detroit, MI

Casamara Onda is a botanical soda showcasing Sicilian style, coastal amaro aromatics. Coastal citrus with leafy green sage. Wild Mediterranean sage over lemon and chinotto. This sparkling beverage is made from botanicals inspired by Italian Amaro, a bitter elixir to aid in the digestion process after a long meal. They are light, crisp, fun to drink and never sweet. Erica Johnson and Jason LaValla created Casamara to prove non-alcoholic products can be interesting. In their own words, “Each botanical is extracted separately, then blended with real sugar into balanced formulas. Recipes are developed for chefs and bartenders who understand how drinks work with food: dry enough to pair, complex enough to stand alone.”
