A bright and crunchy red from the foot of the Dolomites in NE Italy. Castelfeder uses some very old Schiava vines for this chill-able red known locally as Vernatch. Think bright red fruit like pomegranate or cherry with a touch of mint and minerals, a happy wine for a sunny afternoon of antipasto and friends. Castelfeder is a 4th generation winery and one of the benchmark estates in Alto-Adige. They produce a wide portfolio of wines yet work like a small family winery, with individual care and attention paid to each wine.
