Ciavolich 2020 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo ‘Divus’ Abruzzo

From the oldest vines on the estate in Loreto Aprunito, Ciavolich Montepulciano Divus shows the deeper, more textured side to Montepulciano. Divus is aged in different formats of barrel, giving this wine a layered mouthfeel to match Montepulciano’s robust dark fruit. While not as big as others in its class, the Divus shows what a little restraint in the vineyard will give you.
