Leonardo Bussoletti is known for his love of Ciliegiolo, yet his whites have this enviable balance between crisp drinkability and refined expression. Leonardo Bussoletti owns a small winery in the Narni area of southern Umbria, where he works exclusively with native grapes across 7 hectar of vines. He is known for helping to re-establish Ciliegiolo as a benchmark Umbrian varietal with roots back to the Etruscans. He works organically in calcareous clay soils and employs a hands-off approach in the winery resulting in wines of purity.
