A refined and structured Barbaresco from 2020, needing a little time open to come out of its shell. Once it does, polished blue fruit and an intriguing bouquet of sagebrush, minerals and fine-grained tannins await. There is a lot of finesse in this bottle from a producer who crafts really shiny and complex wines. The Gresy family makes extraordinary and age-able wines from their vineyard of Martinenga, of which they have sole ownership.
