Despite the large size of this resort, they take their wine game seriously. Led by Federico Curtaz, a respected Oenologist, the team at Torre A Cona work sustainably in the vineyard and winery to produce elegant and reliable Chianti from their home in the hills near Florence.

Ambra’s Sant Cristina have this persistent red cherry attack contrasted with tobacco, herbal leaf and nicely integrated tannin. Fattoria Ambra is an old estate run by the Rigoli family since the mid 1800, when Carmignano was at the peak of its popularity. They organically farm 20 hectar of vineyards across 5 distinct hillsides of mostly Sangiovese with native grapes and a little Cabernet.
